There’s no school on te 3rd day of CNY and mummy decided to bring us to the annual Sentosa Flowers.

Je t’aime especially loves flowers and she was constantly touching this flower and that flower. She made the staff at Sentosa Flowers very worried as they thought Je t’aime was plucking but Je t’aime said no, she was only touching and smelling.

It’s a happy day!!

I love to dance! And I gamely volunteered myself when the Rockafellas at USS asked for volunteers to preform freestyle dance. Watch the link above for my performance. I told mummy that I want to volunteer again the next time, but I want to improve my dance first. =)

This sister of mine is such a fast learner, when it comes to songs. Mummy just casually sang ‘It Only Takes A Spark aka Pass It On”. And Je t’aime picks it up upon the 1st few hearings and sings it. When she knew that we are going to videoed her, she even strike a pose throughout her song. Lol. So cute!

First outing in 2012. We went to Narnia, The Exhibitiom at MBS. Mummy is a great fan of Narnia and has nfluenced daddy and me to the stories of Narnia.

The frozen waterfall mentioned in Narnia. And hey, those are really ice that we are touching. Amazing how it stays frozen in the exhibition.

Even though this is a small exhibition, but it is worth the $5 that you need to pay to enter. All of us, including Je t’aime, enjoyed it very much. Besides the above mentioned, we got to design our own coat of arms, build an arc (like those seen on castles etc), explored the map of Narnia on a touch screen and lots more.

We are going to Afamosa Resort, Malaysia again. It’s Je t’aime’s first visit and my second though I don’t have any recollections of my first as i was 1.5 years old then.

Je t’aime is one who likes to do what I do. She gamely said she wanted to hold the snake too, “like gor-gor”.

Went Afamosa with my paternal grandparents and maternal grandma. We spent our 1st day doing some shopping and headed to the Cowboy Town for 4D theatre show (not as good as those found in Singapore), a sumptious Chinese dinner (provided in our package) and of course the Animal Carnival Parade. We saw fireworks at close range too and that was one of the highlights of the day. Love it!

Where are we heading to, the next morning?

Ahhh… it’s the Jurassic Experience! This is a temporary exhibition and boy, aren’t we glad we were there.

The exhibition is in the wild, unlike the Singapore Science Centre ‘Dinosaurs Alive’ (which is an indoor exhibit). The experience at Afamosa is more authentic. Let the pictures below do the talking.

What’s next, after the Jurassic Experience?

We went to the ‘farm’ in Animal World and fed huindreds of small chicks. What an experience!!

We even went inside the rabbit enclosure to feed the rabbits.

Didn’t stay long inside the ‘farm’ as we had a bird show to catch.

The 2 grandmas with the beautiful peacock. It’s amazing the zoo-keeper can get the peacock to open up all the while, while people snapped away.

We headed to the walk-through area to feed more animals. We fed the racoons, emus and ponies. I even sat on a camel with grandma Annie.

Off to the Water World after the Animal World. Alas, time was rather tight for us so we didn’t get to explore the Water World much or make full use of its facilities. We only played at the Kids Adventure Pool.

On our last day, we tried archery. Je t’aime like it more than me. Haha!

I chose to ride on a horse rather than a pony as I’ve not rode on a horse before. I’m a big boy now! And I am not scared. I even wanted to ride on it a second time.

Grandpa had a go at adult go-kart while I tried my hands at the mini-go-kart. It is meant for children 6-12 years old but I was allowed to ride beacuse I am tall enough (feet can touch the pedals).

My first experience with go-karting and it is great fun!! Rm 50 for 10 rounds of go-karting. Worth it.

We went to the stadium with Alexis and Ambrose to play running, relay races and ball. It was our first stadium play-outing and we had alot of fun! Kudos to mummy for suggesting the play-date. =)

We are at Jurong Bird Park again. It is the most visited attractions for us this year. Usually it’s the Singapore Zoo but Je t’aime seems to fancy the Bird Park, so here we are.

But today is abit different. Our main objection is to visit the newly opened Birds of Play, a water-play area for kids. It’s beautiful and fun, like the one at the Zoo.

I enjoy sliding down this water slide. First time I slide down so many times as I tend to be abit apprehensive when I was at the Zoo.

Playing near the water-play area. There’s also a playground with swings, see-saws etc just beside it. It’s fun!!

There’s a free craft area for us to make animals out of eggs. This craft activity is only for a certain period. Look at our creation above, a bird inbetween 2 sheep. I made the one on the right mostly by myself. Yeah! Mummy and Daddy helped Je t’aime make the other 2.

Besides playing at the Bird Park, we went to see the birds too. One of them, the sun conures, at the Jungle Jewels. We especially love the Hornbills section. Go take a look at the beautiful and many different hornbills if you visit Jurong Bird Park.

Je t’aime turns 27 months old today. Have I mentioned that she loves to pose. Haha!!

Mummy has been flashing these owls cards to her and she knows and recognises all 10 of them. I do too. We are now learning more about the other birds of prey like bald eagle, kites, vultures etc.

Je t’aime can differentiate the Treble clef and the Bass clef. Clever girl! And she knows which hand is for playing which clef.

She also knows the music notes C, D, E, F, G, A, B, C. Now she’s into 2 and 3 black keys. =)

It has been a week. Every morning when Je t’aime wakes, one of the first things she will do after drinking milk is to head to her wardrobe.

She will open the doors and drawers of the wardrobe and choose the clothes that she wants to get changed into.

Say her mouth the word “Jeans”.
